Welcome (1 minute)
Welcome back for the last lesson of our Superbook adventure called “Revelation.” Have you ever prepared for an important event in the future?
What was it?
There is an event coming in the future that we need to prepare ourselves for—and prepare others, too! Jesus is coming back again! We need to tell everyone we can! Let’s stand up to thank and praise Him as we sing The Salvation Poem. As we sing, let’s really think about what Jesus has done for us and dedicate our lives to Him in a fresh way.

SuperTruth and Discussion (3 minutes)
Our SuperTruth for today is: “I will prepare others for the coming of the Lord.” This is so important that I think we need to shout it out! Let’s have grades 4-6 shout it out together one time. Children shout the SuperTruth.
That was really loud! Now, grades 1-3, try to shout it even louder! Okay—go! Children shout the SuperTruth.
We want everyone to be ready when Jesus comes back so they can go to heaven with Him!

If most or all children watched the Bible story video in a previous lesson, omit it here and go straight to the SuperVerse.
Who remembers what happened when Chris disobeyed his father’s rules? He accidentally burned down his house.
Chris thought he could never be forgiven. There are many people in the world who believe that God could never forgive them! We can share God’s love and forgiveness with them so they can look forward to Jesus coming again, too! Now, for the children who haven’t seen our Bible story yet, we are going to watch a short version of the video. If you’ve already seen it, then this time as you watch, look for ways that Joy and Gizmo are loyal friends to Chris, even after he made an unwise choice.
Play Video 4: Condensed Bible Story* (11 minutes)
Condensed Bible Story
Superbook takes Joy and Gizmo to meet the Apostle John in heaven, while Chris encounters Satan in the desert just before the Lord vanquishes His enemies in a final battle. The children learn that all who ask God’s forgiveness in Jesus’ name are granted eternal life with Him.

SuperVerse Discussion (2 minutes)
Our SuperVerse, Revelation 22:12, says:
“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.”
Have you ever looked forward to seeing someone you haven’t seen for a long time?
It is hard to wait, isn’t it?
Would it be easier to wait if you knew they were bringing a gift with them for you? No—harder!
Yes, that would make it even harder to wait. I think that Jesus’ disciples probably thought Jesus would be back in their lifetime—He said He would come quickly! But, no matter how many years go by, Jesus’ promise will be kept—He is coming again and He is bringing a reward for His followers! Let’s say the SuperVerse together.
Children will have more time to learn the SuperVerse in Small Group.
Introduce Signposts Video (1 minute)
Now let’s watch our Signposts video to learn more about the prophecies that will be fulfilled when Jesus comes again!

Prayer and Send-Off (2 minutes)
Let’s pray. Dear Jesus, thank You for going to heaven and sending us the Holy Spirit to help us live obedient lives until You come again. Help us to look for others who we can tell about Your coming. In Your name, Amen.
Today in Small Group, we are going to play a game about bringing people to heaven! That sounds interesting, doesn’t it! Let’s go!
Teachers take children to Small Group classes for Grades 1–3 and 4–6. If the combined group is small, all children may stay together for Small Group time.
