Coloring Activity

  • Gizmo Helps Coloring Page
  • Crayons, colored pencils, or washable markers

Give a coloring page to each child, along with crayons, colored pencils, or washable markers to share. Lead a discussion using the questions below as children color their pages.


 

1. What was the main purpose of Chris, Joy and Gizmo’s mission trip? To witness to people and to build an orphanage.   

 

2. What was Gizmo doing in this scene? Trying to help stir the mortar.

 

3. How did that work out? It didn’t. The mortar was so thick that his paddle got stuck and he spun around instead and flew into Pastor Aaron.

 

Gizmo always has good intentions, but many times his ideas backfire and turn into some kind of mishap or mess.   

4. We can demonstrate our love for Jesus by doing what He asks us to do. How do you think the people on the mission trip can do that? They are witnessing about Jesus. They are loving and serving others by building the orphanage.  

 

Conclusion: When we do what Jesus asks, we experience the love of God and share it with others.
