Hold up the tree branch or show the tree branch image. Lead a short discussion with the following comments and questions:

●      What do you think this was connected to? A tree.

●      Have you ever seen fruit growing on a tree; if so, what kind? Apples, peaches, lemons, bananas, oranges, lemons, limes, coconuts, etc.    

●      Raise your hand if you have ever tried to climb a tree. Children respond.

●      Which robot do you think climbs a tree in today’s video—Gizmo, Gears, Rig, or Widget? Children guess. 

●      Those are good guesses! Let’s watch the video now to find out!    

Leave the question unanswered until it is revealed in the video.

Today we are going to catch up with Rig the robot, who is having fun playing in the park. The not-so-good news is that Rig has some visitors named Grabber and Doodad, two robots who don’t always obey the rules!

●      Who came to rescue the robots? Super Gizmo.

●      What fell on top of Gizmo? The tree.

It is always a good choice to obey the rules that God gives us and the directions that adults, like our parents and teachers, give us.   

Rules may not always be fun or easy to follow, but they are given to help us and keep us safe!
