So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”

Optional: Show the memory verse presentation at 10:00 of the video. (which is the complete verse, rather than the abbreviated version here).

Raise your hand if you remember when Gizmo and Widget showed us the Bible verse in the video. Children respond.

Can anyone say the first part of the Verse to GO that we learned last time? So be strong and courageous

Can anyone say the second part of the Verse to GO? Do not be afraid… God will go ahead of you.

Today we will learn the third part of the Verse to GO. God will not fail you or abandon you.

We may try to help someone but find out that we just can’t do it. This is not true with God. He never fails to do what He chooses to do. Nothing can stop Him.

The word “abandon” is a big word. It means to leave someone or to turn your back on someone. God will never, ever leave us or turn His back on us. We can trust in Him to keep every promise and to do what He says He will do—every time.

Suggestion: Teach the verse with the motions below to help kids remember the words in the verse.

God will not fail you… Point to the sky and shake your head no.

Or abandon youTurn around and face the opposite direction. (To represent turning your back on someone).

God is always with us; we are never alone. Sometimes it can be hard to tell the truth, but God is with us He will give us the courage to do it.

Note: Preschool children may not be able to memorize the entire SuperVerse. They may simply repeat it with you. Be sure all children understand its meaning.
